Job Summary:

The Interior Execution Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site interior execution activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage contractors, vendors, materials, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Prepare and review project schedules, work breakdown structures, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, and clients to understand design intent.
• Plan manpower, materials, and resource allocations.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility checks before starting execution.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day interior execution activities such as civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, ceiling, flooring, and façade works.
• Ensure all work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to timelines and contract terms.
• Monitor progress and resolve on-site issues quickly.

3. Quality Control

• Implement quality checklists for each trade.
• Ensure materials used on site meet approved samples and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and report deviations.
• Coordinate with design team for clarifications and revisions.

4. Cost & Material Management

• Monitor project expenses and ensure execution stays within budget.
• Plan and track material requirements to avoid delays.
• Verify contractor bills, running bills, and BOQs.
• Prevent wastage and ensure efficient resource utilization.

5. Vendor & Client Coordination

• Coordinate regularly with clients to provide progress updates.
• Address client concerns promptly and maintain strong relationships.
• Manage vendor schedules, deliveries, and installation timelines.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure site safety, housekeeping, and compliance with all safety norms.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain documentation related to safety audits, permits, and inspections.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, progress photographs, and work logs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Maintain drawings, change orders, and revisions properly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of interior materials, construction techniques, and finishing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and civil drawings.
• Experience with BOQ preparation, billing, costing, and vendor management.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving ability and quick decision making.
• Time management and ability to handle pressure.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Interior Design, or related field.
• 3–10+ years of experience in interior project execution or fit-out works.
• Experience in commercial, residential, school, or office interior projects preferred.
