Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer who can effectively handle both design-related tasks and administrative responsibilities. This unique role combines the artistic skills of an interior designer with the organizational abilities required for vendor tie-ups, 2D/3D rendering, and site visits. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design background along with excellent communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

Interior Design:Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
Create innovative and functional interior design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, materials, and furnishings.Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideas.Utilize 2D/3D rendering software to develop visual representations of design concepts.Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and industry practices.

Vendor Tie-ups:Research, identify, and establish relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive pricing and quality of materials and services.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain project files, records, and documentation in an organized manner.
Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.Assist in project coordination and liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.Coordinate site visits, inspections, and installations as required.Assist in procurement and inventory management of design materials and samples.

Site Visits:Conduct on-site visits to assess project progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
Collaborate with contractors and project teams to resolve any design or construction-related issues.Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D rendering software and other design tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions.
• Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
