Required Qualifications & Skills: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 12-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in power plant design, installation, and commissioning. Strong expertise in detailed engineering, mechanical design, and stress analysis. Hands-on experience with piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, turbines, boilers, and cooling systems. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Ansys, Caesar II (for piping stress analysis), PV Elite (for pressure vessel design). Familiarity with international standards (ASME Sec VIII, API 610/650, ISO 9001, IBR, ANSI, TEMA, ASTM). Experience in rotating machinery selection, vibration analysis, and alignment techniques. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to conduct fluid dynamics and thermal analysis for power plant systems. Experience with Failure Analysis, HAZOP, and FMEA for risk assessment and mitigation. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens power plant systems and processes. Knowledge of steam cycle analysis, Rankine cycle, and Brayton cycle.
