Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer (Pharma / Chemical)

Location: Mandideep, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – 462046

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Mandideep (Bhopal). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instruments within pharmaceutical or chemical industry environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Instrumentation Maintenance & Projects

  • Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of various field instruments.
  • Participate in instrumentation projects, including installation, commissioning, and validation.
  • Ensure reliability and accuracy of instruments to support continuous plant operations.
  • Preferably experienced in pharmaceutical or chemical industry processes.

2. Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the working principles, calibration, and troubleshooting of:
  • Flow Meters
  • Level Transmitters
  • Conductivity Meters
  • pH Meters
  • Balances
  • Control Valves
  • Ability to interpret instrument manuals, data sheets, P&IDs, and other technical documents.

3. Wiring & Panel Work

  • Good knowledge of field instrumentation cable connections, control wiring, and panel wiring.
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and instrument hookup drawings.

4. Regulatory & Quality Compliance

  • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and quality audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate calibration and maintenance records as per regulatory standards.

5. Safety Awareness

  • Strong understanding of safety norms and protocols related to instrumentation activities.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with automation systems (PLC / DCS) will be an added advantage.
