About the Role:

We are hiring for a fast-growing client in the pharmaceutical equipment and engineering services space. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects across Pharma, Biotech, API, and Specialty Chemical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client specifications to identify special instrumentation/control system requirements.
• Execute basic design engineering for control systems and field instruments, including:
• Instrument Index
• IO Assignment
• Instrument Datasheets & Hook-ups
• Cable Tray Layout & Schedule
• PLC/DCS System Architecture
• Select and specify instruments based on process data and P&IDs (e.g., control valves, actuated valves, flow/pressure/temperature/level transmitters).
• Evaluate and finalize PLC/DCS hardware and software quotations.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities of control systems and field instruments.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Provide commissioning support on-site or remotely, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate with electrical and automation teams for seamless project delivery.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to standardization efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Controls Engineering from a recognized institute.

• Experience:

  6–8 years in instrumentation and automation engineering for Pharma, Biotech, API, or Chemical projects.
• Hands-on experience with DCS/PLC systems and field instruments.
• Good understanding of electrical panels and control systems.
• Familiarity with complete project execution lifecycle.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines.

Technical Proficiency:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project).
