Role Overview
The Digital Technology & Innovation Coach is a key member of the Pedagogical Leadership Team. This role strengthens teaching and learning through the purposeful, innovative, and ethical use of digital technologies and AI.The role is

Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Leadership & Teacher Coaching
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology meaningfully into the Programme of Inquiry, curriculum plans, and subject outlines.
- Design and model technology-enhanced, inquiry-based learning experiences that promote conceptual understanding and student agency.
- Use coaching cycles involving co-planning, modeling, co-teaching, observations, and reflective feedback.
- Guide teachers in embedding digital literacy, creativity, problem-solving, and assistive technologies.
- Collect and analyze data to measure coaching impact and shape professional learning priorities.
- Curriculum & Programme Development
- Lead the ongoing development of a Digital Literacy curriculum aligned with IB PYP and Cambridge requirements.
- Ensure technology supports transdisciplinary learning, collaboration, and Approaches to Learning (ATL).
- Curate and recommend age-appropriate apps, platforms, and resources.
- Collaborate with coordinators and instructional leaders to enhance digital teaching and learning.
- Implement and refine the school’s digital citizenship framework.
- Data & Assessment
- Support teachers in using digital tools for formative/summative assessment and feedback.
- Help staff interpret assessment and engagement data to inform planning and improve outcomes.
- Promote data dashboards and analytics to identify trends and strengthen practices.
- Guide the use of digital portfolios to document student growth.
- Use self-reflection and data to assess the effectiveness of the coaching role.
- Professional Learning
- Design and lead professional development sessions on digital pedagogy, collaborative learning, and creativity.
- Support teachers in setting and achieving technology-related professional goals.
- Share global edtech trends, IB best practices, and research-based strategies.
- Facilitate PLCs focused on meaningful technology integration.
- Provide staff with pedagogical and digital resources.
- Community Engagement
- Guide students to become safe, responsible, ethical digital citizens aligned with IB and Cambridge learner attributes.
- Teach age-appropriate digital skills for research, collaboration, and creation.
- Organize parent workshops on digital citizenship, online safety, and digital wellbeing.
- Support families with guidance on responsible technology use at home.
- Showcase student innovation through exhibitions and digital projects.
- Professionalism & School Contributions
- Lead the strategic development and implementation of the school’s Technology Vision and Plan.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with staff, students, and families.
- Model adaptability, curiosity, professionalism, and lifelong learning.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by school leadership.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology Integration, or related field.
- Significant teaching experience in an international school setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in inquiry-based, student-centered technology integration.
- Strong understanding of digital tools and teaching strategies.
- Experience in instructional coaching, facilitation, or professional development.
- Commitment to digital citizenship, innovation, and ethical technology use.
- Familiarity with IB PYP / DP and Cambridge frameworks.
- Stable job tenure (minimum of 2 years in each school).
