Main Duties

Reporting to the Head of Talent Development, the Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing engaging, outcome-oriented learning content that aligns with the organisation’s strategic goals and global quality standards. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex information into structured, scalable, and learner-friendly formats using modern instructional design methodologies, digital authoring tools, and learning platforms. This role plays a critical part in enhancing organizational capability and fostering a culture of continuous learning through high-impact content development.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop engaging learning material focused on consultative sales, product knowledge, and soft skills to enhance student advising and ethical guidance
  • Create a pool of learning resources, including how-to guides, interactive checklists, country readiness toolkits, simulations, pitch scenarios, and real-world practice exercises tailored to study abroad workflows.
  • Use content authoring and design tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Canva, and others to design visually impactful, compelling and instructionally sound learning material
  • Apply storytelling, case-based learning, and scenario-driven formats to simplify complex topics
  • Transform service and operational content into clear, accessible, and engaging formats like videos, infographics, slide decks, and visual SOPs, ensuring clarity for both internal teams and end users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure learning content is current, accurate, and aligned with processes and policies.
  • Publish and manage content on the LMS, ensuring it’s mobile-optimised, brand-aligned, and inclusive.
  • Embed formative assessments, including knowledge checks, quizzes, and surveys, into learning journeys to evaluate comprehension, content effectiveness and learner satisfaction.
  • Establish a version control and feedback loop with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content relevance and incorporate updates on a rolling basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in instructional design and/or corporate training, ideally in EdTech or education.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
  • Hands-on experience with content development tools (Articulate, Captivate, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
  • Experience of digital learning platforms.
  • Ability to balance creativity with structured learning outcomes.
  • Experience in designing content for study abroad or international student support is preferred.
  • Knowledge of global education systems (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.) will be an advantage.
