Instructional Designer

At GLA university, we are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team and play a crucial role in creating eBooks, eLearning tutorials, video-based content, and storyboards. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality digital learning materials that effectively convey information and enhance learner engagement. This role requires a strong understanding of instructional design principles, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and multimedia professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design and create instructional materials, including eBooks, eLearning modules, video scripts,

and storyboards that align with learning objectives and enhance user engagement.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs and learning goals, ensuring that

content is tailored to the target audience.

• Develop detailed storyboards for eLearning courses and video content, outlining the structure,

flow, and visual elements of each project.

• Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other team members to integrate

multimedia elements into instructional materials.

• Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with instructional goals, ensuring

high-quality deliverables.

• Implement assessment strategies to measure the effectiveness of instructional materials and

make data-driven improvements.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met while

maintaining high-quality standards.

• Stay current with trends in instructional design, eLearning technologies, and best practices to

enhance the effectiveness of learning materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development or a related field
