About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Instructional Design Intern to join our Learning & Development team. In this role, you will assist in designing and developing engaging learning experiences focused on our technical software products and solutions. You will collaborate with experienced Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to create impactful content that drives product understanding and user confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of learning modules for software solutions, including e-learning, microlearning, instructor-led training, and job aids
• Create instructional materials such as storyboards, scripts, graphics outlines, and assessments aligned with learning objectives
• Work with rapid authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Rise) under guidance to build interactive learning content
• Conduct research to understand software features, user workflows, and learning needs
• Support in reviewing and editing learning materials for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to branding guidelines
• Assist in maintaining and updating existing learning content as required
• Participate in team meetings, reviews, and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas to enhance learning design and delivery

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Education, English, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in technical software products with the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly
• Ability to conduct full-fledged research and know where to source accurate content from
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); should be able to know basic formatting and editing principles across the platform’s tools
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM
• Exposure to e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate)
• Basic understanding of graphic design or multimedia tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Basic experience in graphic design principles (digital posts/posters/infographic creation, etc)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and user-centered design
