The Role:

Institutional Sales Trader

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Relationship Management:

  Actively engage with a diverse portfolio of institutional clients, including Domestic Institutional Investors (DII), Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPI), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF). You will be responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing these relationships, focusing on sales, providing insightful technical analysis, and ensuring continuous business growth.

• Targeted Client Focus:

  Primarily cater to leading Domestic Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, and Banks, understanding their specific investment mandates and trading requirements.

• High-Volume Trade Execution:

  Execute complex and high-volume trades with precision and efficiency using

  Bloomberg terminals

  . This includes expert utilization of various algorithmic trading strategies, such as CD orders, volume participation, basket orders, and sophisticated spread trades.

• Business Development & Empanelment:

  Proactively identify and onboard new institutional clients through strategic meetings and presentations with Fund Managers and Chief Investment Officers (CIOs).

• Quality Assurance:

  Ensure impeccable trade execution quality for all Domestic Fund Houses, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.

• Market Monitoring:

  Diligently monitor block trades and promptly manage trade confirmations via Bloomberg, ensuring seamless post-trade processes.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for seasoned professionals with:

• Proven experience in institutional sales trading, specifically in either

  Derivatives

  or

  Cash

  markets.
• A strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Exceptional client management and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in using Bloomberg for trading and market analysis.
• A results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
