Inside Sales Representative - EdTech SaaS
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team, focusing on expanding the reach of our innovative CALF(TM) platform.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and closing new partnerships with educational institutions and organizations. Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities within the corporate education through outbound calling, email campaigns, social selling, and lead follow-up from marketing initiatives.
- Solution Selling: Conduct engaging virtual product demonstrations and presentations of our EdTech SaaS platform to prospective clients, effectively articulating its value proposition and how it addresses specific educational challenges and needs.
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within corporate institutions, understanding their unique requirements and learning goals.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to successful close, including needs assessment, proposal development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress within our CRM system (HubSpot).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns, and collaborate with customer success to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Market Insights: Stay abreast of trends in educational technology, government funding initiatives for EdTech, competitor offerings, and changes in the education landscape.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as an internal advocate for customer needs, providing valuable feedback to product development teams to continually enhance our SaaS platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in inside sales or a similar sales role, with a strong emphasis on SaaS sales, specifically within the EdTech industry preferred.
- MBA qualification is desirable. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas in a quota-carrying role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and engaging phone and virtual meeting presence.
- Solid understanding of the sales process for B2B SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with the educational landscape, common challenges faced by educators and administrators, and how technology can solve them.
- Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Strong negotiation, closing, and objection-handling skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
