Job Summary:

Inside Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management & Lead Allocation

  • Lead and supervise the

    Inside Sales / Telecalling team

    handling inbound digital leads.
  • Allocate leads fairly and ensure timely contact and follow-up by the team.
  • Train and guide team members on lead communication, objection handling, and conversion techniques.
  • Conduct daily reviews and performance monitoring.

Lead Conversion & Business Growth

  • Ensure maximum

    lead-to-business conversion ratio

    through proper follow-up strategies.
  • Identify high-value leads and personally engage for closure support.
  • Drive business growth in

    gold buying, gold loan settlement, and silver business

    .
  • Coordinate with

    branch heads and valuation teams

    to ensure seamless customer experience and closure.

CRM & Reporting

  • Ensure all leads are updated and tracked in the

    CRM system

    with proper follow-up stages.
  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly lead performance reports and identify improvement areas.
  • Monitor team productivity, response time, and conversion funnel metrics.

Marketing Coordination

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on

    lead quality, ad performance, and region-wise response

    .
  • Suggest improvements to campaigns and follow-up scripts for better engagement.
  • Support marketing with ideas for

    remarketing, WhatsApp campaigns, and customer reactivation.

Customer Experience & Compliance

  • Maintain high standards of professionalism in customer communication.
  • Ensure transparent and ethical handling of leads and conversions.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience

    in Inside Sales, Tele-Sales, or Lead Management (preferably from gold, finance, or retail background).
  • Strong leadership and team-handling capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Sound understanding of

    CRM systems, lead tracking, and digital lead flow processes.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Branch Ops, Valuation).
  • Target-oriented mindset with proven track record in conversions and revenue growth.
