Description
As an Inside Sales Engineer, your role involves identifying opportunities for new business development by following up on leads and conducting research on target clients. You will be responsible for generating new business by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant solutions. Managing the entire inside sales process to close new business opportunities will be a key part of your job. Additionally, you will provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests. You will also be submitting orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes, as well as providing technical training to client staff as required. Moreover, you will be expected to comply with legal requirements by keeping abreast of existing and upcoming versions and advising the customer on product, service, or equipment adherence. Your responsibilities will also include preparing sales engineering reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales information and engineering and application trends. Furthermore, you will contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and recommending options and courses of action. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma/degree in Engineering or a related field, with exposure to ERP/Industrial automation - Strong prior experience as a junior or mid-level inside sales engineer - Excellent communication and influencing skills, organized, and can multitask effectively - Strong experience in consultative sales and ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships - Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets - B-Tech with a Masters in Business Administration or similar qualifications preferred In addition to the role-specific responsibilities and qualifications, this position offers the flexibility of full-time, permanent employment with the benefit of working from home. The work location is primarily in person.
