15 years full time educationSummary: We are looking for a highly skilled Windows Systems Engineer to support and enhance our datacenter and cloud infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure or AWS). You will be responsible for ensuring system uptime, performance, and security across on-prem and cloud platforms. Roles & Responsibilities: Windows Server Administration - Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022). - Manage roles and features such as AD DS, DNS, DHCP, File Services, and Group Policy. - Perform OS patching, server hardening, and lifecycle management. Datacenter Infrastructure - Support virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware ESXi). - Manage physical and virtual servers, storage, and networking. - Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and system-related issues in datacenter environments. Cloud Infrastructure (Azure / AWS / GCP) - Deploy and manage Windows workloads in Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Integrate and support hybrid environments using Azure AD Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, or ExpressRoute. - Work with cloud-native services such as Azure VMs, IAM, S3, or Azure Blob Storage. Automation & Infrastructure as Code - Automate system provisioning and configurations using PowerShell, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. - Implement and maintain desired state configuration (DSC) or other CM tools. Security & Compliance - Enforce Windows security best practices, Group Policies, and access controls. - Manage certificates, WSUS, antivirus, and endpoint protection. Monitoring & Performance - Monitor infrastructure using tools such as System Center (SCOM), SolarWinds, Nagios, or Azure Monitor. - Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks (CPU, memory, disk, network). - Participate in capacity planning and system optimization. Collaboration & Documentation - Work with cross-functional teams (network, cloud, security, DevOps). - Create and maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and recovery plans. - Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and support escalation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration. - Strong understanding of server configuration and management. - Ability to implement and maintain security measures for server environments - Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies in enterprise environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration. - The candidate should have 2+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP). - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required., 15 years full time education
