Experience Required:

Key Responsibilities

Manage enterprise-level IT operations, including incidents and service requests, ensuring SLA adherence.
Maintain, support, and improve IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments.
Perform routine patching, updates, and maintenance of Windows Server environments using Azure Update Management.
Oversee and support infrastructure for Microsoft Windows servers, AVD, VDI, and VMware vSphere.
Administer and optimize hosts/servers to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.
Conduct root-cause analysis of service interruptions and implement preventive measures.
Automate and standardize processes using scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, etc.).
Install, configure, and document operating systems, software, and hardware.
Ensure up-to-date and accurate technical documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.
Manage and monitor infrastructure using ServiceNow and cloud monitoring tools.
Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting, upgrades, and improvements.

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs.
Hands-on experience with Azure services: Virtual Machines (IaaS), Storage (Storage Accounts, Managed Disks), Virtual Networks, NSGs, Site Recovery, ARM Templates, Azure AD, AVD.
Proficient in Azure management: Policies, RBAC/IAM, Monitoring, Alerts, Backup/DR, Governance best practices.
Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitLab CI/CD pipelines preferred).
Familiarity with DevOps processes and methodologies (advantage).
Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud-native solutions.
Exposure to AWS services and multi-cloud environments (preferred).
Experience with ServiceNow for ITSM processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator/Engineer)
AWS Certified Engineer

Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
Proactive approach in troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
