Information Technology System Engineer

Role Overview: As an IT System Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT systems while providing technical expertise to support business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, configure, and deploy IT systems such as servers, networks, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments. - Implement system upgrades, patches, and new technologies to enhance performance and security. - Collaborate with IT architects and project managers on system integration and infrastructure projects. - Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of IT systems. - Provide second- and third-level technical support for system-related issues. - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems to minimize downtime. - Implement and manage system security measures like firewalls, antivirus, and access controls. - Ensure compliance with company IT policies, data protection, and regulatory requirements. - Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity planning. - Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes. - Provide reports on system performance, incidents, and capacity planning. - Recommend improvements and optimizations for IT operations. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and business systems. - Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system maintenance and upgrades. - Assist in IT training and knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of servers, networks, storage, and cloud systems. - Experience in system security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect would be a plus.,
