Job Description

The IT Support Engineer role based in Pune involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure smooth functioning of IT systems. Your main tasks will include setting up new joiners on laptop/MacBook, installing and configuring computer hardware, software, networks, and printers. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, both in person and remotely. Additionally, your role will require you to troubleshoot Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and OneDrive. You should also be familiar with providing end-user support for Apple MacOS systems. A good understanding of networks, protocols, and IT security is essential in this position. You will be expected to address hardware issues related to Dell, HP Laptops, and Apple MacBooks. Furthermore, the IT Support Engineer will be responsible for installing, managing, and configuring Windows/MAC Operating Systems. Experience with Nexthink, SCCM, and Beyond Trust tools to support remote users is desired. Knowledge of ticketing systems like ServiceNow for issue tracking is important. In case of unresolved issues, you will need to escalate them to L2/L3 support. Being available for providing support via calls, Microsoft Teams, and email communication is crucial for this role.,
