Job Description

"IT Procurement Negotiator (DVP/VP)"

Kolkata

Job Purpose

Responsible for leading IT contract negotiations across software, hardware, cloud, and services. Ensure favorable terms, manage vendor risk, and align procurement with business objectives, compliance, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate contracts, renewals, SLAs, and licensing agreements with IT vendors.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Projects on negotiation strategies.
Assess contracts for risks, compliance, and cost-saving opportunities.
Track contract lifecycle and ensure timely renewals.
Ensure adherence to policies, data security, and legal standards.
Provide vendor/market intelligence and support IT budgeting.

Requirements

Graduate in IT/Business/Commerce or related field.
14–15 years’ experience in IT procurement, contract negotiation, or vendor management.
Relevant certifications (CPSM/CTPE); ITIL knowledge preferred.
Strong knowledge of IT licensing, SaaS, cloud, and SLAs.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract drafting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools.
