Informatica Metadata Lead

The job holder is responsible for supporting the design, development and implementation of the Data
Governance program, and specifically those relating to metadata management, as part of the DataGovernance Office. They are accountable for maintaining direction and ensuring alignment with businessobjectives with regards to how data is managed across the organisation.The job holder is also a key member of the broader data management group across the organization and isexpected to play an important role in influencing and providing direction to the wider data managementcommunity Strategic responsibilitiesSupport the development of the organizational Data Strategy and support data management in linewith strategic business objectives and FAB cultures and values. Supports the DQ Lead in the development and oversight of data governance framework, standards,practices, policies and processes.Manage and ensure rigorous governance of the enterprise glossary/metadata repository in order toprevent the publishing of unapproved metadata data content for organizational usageCore responsibilities Define and implement change governance processes of metadata content including change severity,service level agreements and reporting of high impact data changes to relevant data governancecommitteesExecute ongoing data discovery in order to identify new/amended data elements to ensure that thedata landscape is comprehensively defined and remains up to date through ongoing maintenance Define, curate and enrich data elements within the enterprise glossary in order to drive a consistentunderstanding and use of data elements across FAB in collaboration with business data stewards anddata ownersEnforce changes to business applications (source/target systems) in order to align them to data rulesdefined within the enterprise glossary Should have experience in larger data migration projects which include migrate large volume data from legacy system or with in CRM system as part of upgrade.Preferably to have Master Data Management(Universal Customer Hub) domain experience and Data quality experience.Preferably to have worked on Siebel IP17 or later versions and Web tools.Knowledge of ETL Tools like ODI/Informatica and using ETL tool with Siebel EIM will be an added advantage.Involve in production support activities including troubleshoot and resolve production issues, data quality issues, ticket resolution and BAU monitoring.
