Role Summary

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer (IE) to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity across operations. The candidate will be responsible for conducting time & motion studies, capacity planning, layout optimization, and production cost analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies to analyze production processes and identify improvement areas.
• Develop and implement methods to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Plan manpower, machines, and material utilization for optimal output.
• Prepare operation breakdowns, machine layouts, and line balancing for production units.
• Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency, and downtime.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support in setting standard time for each operation and maintain accurate data records.
• Recommend and execute process improvements, lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
• Assist in developing production reports and dashboards for management review.
• Train operators and supervisors on improved work methods and process standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in industrial engineering (preferably in textiles, trims, or garment accessories manufacturing).
• Strong knowledge of time study, motion study, and process improvement techniques.
• Experience in layout design, line balancing, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities with cross-functional teams.
