The HR Specialist will oversee end-to-end HR operations of the school, ensuring smooth recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and effective implementation of school HR policies. Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for academic & non-academic staff.
• Screen resumes, schedule interviews, coordinate with department heads.
• Complete joining formalities, issue appointment letters, and maintain employee records.
  

2. HR Operations

• Maintain attendance, leave records, and monthly MIS.
• Handle payroll inputs and coordinate with finance.
• Oversee staff confirmation, appraisals, and contract renewals.
  

3. Employee Relations & Welfare

• Act as a point of contact for staff queries and grievances.
• Plan employee engagement activities, orientation, and training sessions.
• Ensure a positive and professional work culture.
  

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, POSH, etc.).
• Update and implement HR policies as per school requirements.
• Maintain updated personnel files and audit-ready documentation.
  

5. Performance Management

• Assist in goal-setting and appraisal processes.
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational & documentation abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace
• Knowledge of school HR processes preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Management, Psychology, or related field
• 2–6 years of HR experience preferably in a K-12 School
