About the Role As the Business Development Manager – Influencer Marketing , your core responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities for the agency. You’ll act as the bridge between our creator network and brands, ensuring both parties derive maximum value. Your job is not just about selling services—it's about crafting strategic influencer solutions that meet the unique goals of each brand. Key Responsibilities Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Proactively identify new business opportunities and actively pitch influencer marketing services to potential clients across industries. Brand Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with key decision-makers, brand managers, and marketing teams at established companies. Strategic Brand-Creator Matchmaking: Analyze brand goals and target audience to suggest the most suitable creators from our network for high-impact campaigns. Outbound Outreach & Sales Conversion: Execute structured outbound strategies—including emails, calls, and LinkedIn outreach—to engage new leads and convert them into clients. Campaign Pitching: Present well-thought-out influencer marketing proposals tailored to the needs and vision of the client, using a mix of creative thinking and data-backed insights. Key Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have: 3–4 years of experience in business development specifically within the influencer marketing industry. This is non-negotiable. You must understand the space and have hands-on experience working with influencers and brands. Proven track record of closing business for influencer marketing agencies. Show us your wins—clients you’ve closed, campaigns you've initiated, and revenue you've contributed to. Existing network of brand contacts you can immediately tap into to open doors and fast-track growth. Skills & Qualifications Deep Knowledge of Influencer Marketing Platforms & Trends: You stay updated with the latest changes in influencer marketing—be it platforms like Instagram, YouTube or industry tools and analytics. Strong Negotiation & Communication Skills: You're persuasive, articulate, and confident when handling objections or closing deals.
