Job Description – HR Manager

Company: Shop More Hypermarket
Location: Pulpally, Wayanad, Kerala
Experience: 6 months – 2 years in overall HR operations (Retail / Supermarket / FMCG preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Manage hiring for floor staff, supervisors, and support teams.
• Conduct employee orientation and onboarding programs.

Payroll & Attendance

• Maintain staff attendance, leave records, and monthly payroll processing.
• Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory deductions.

Compliance & Policies

• Ensure compliance with Kerala labor laws, ESI, PF, and Shops & Establishments Act.
• Maintain HR policies, employee records, and documentation.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Address staff queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
• Conduct employee engagement activities to improve morale and retention.

Performance & Training

• Support in performance appraisal and feedback processes.
• Identify training needs and organize sessions (customer service, sales, teamwork).

HR Administration & Reporting

• Prepare HR reports, MIS, and dashboards for management.
• Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related matters at the store.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration.
• 6 months – 2 years of experience in overall HR operations (Retail / Supermarket / FMCG preferred).
• Knowledge of labor laws, payroll, and compliance.
• Strong communication skills in Malayalam, English.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and people management skills.
