Role Overview: As the Head of Human Resources at Alankaram, you will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end Human Resources function. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals, overseeing talent management and development, enhancing employee experience and engagement, ensuring statutory compliance and policy management, managing industrial relations, and building a strong organizational culture. Your ultimate goal will be to contribute to Alankaram's vision of becoming a Great Place to Work certified organization by December 2025. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals - Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters - Track and report key HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions - Oversee recruitment strategy and ensure a strong pipeline of talent - Implement performance management cycles and career development programs - Prepare and monitor training programs for the entire workforce - Drive initiatives to enhance employee happiness and engagement - Maintain health, hygiene, and safety in the workplace - Ensure 100% compliance with Indian labor laws - Maintain updated HR policies and employee handbook - Manage industrial relations and resolve concerns proactively - Lead the strategic roadmap towards achieving Great Place to Work certification - Implement best practices in employee trust, transparency, fairness, and well-being Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of progressive HR experience - Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws, IR protocols, and statutory norms - Strong leadership and people management skills - Prior experience in a manufacturing/factory-led environment is a plus - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi Additional Company Details: Alankaram is a design-first, premium teakwood furniture brand that aims to redefine Indian craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic.
