Job Description

Role Overview: The Human Resources Intern (Generalist) position at the Inspire Institute of Sport in Vijayanagara, Karnataka offers you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR operations. As an intern, you will be involved in talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, employee relations, data management, and general HR support. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of HR functions within a dynamic and fast-paced sports environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. - Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals. - Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates for cultural and technical fit. - Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. - Maintain an up-to-date database of candidates and job requisitions. - Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing documentation and ensuring a smooth transition. - Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate the onboarding process for new employees. - Assist with offboarding by preparing exit documentation and conducting exit interviews. - Help coordinate and organize employee engagement activities, events, and initiatives. - Assist in handling employee queries related to policies, benefits, and company procedures. - Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and databases. - Assist with various administrative tasks and provide support during audits and compliance checks. Qualifications Required: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Positive, proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HR software is a plus.
