Job Description

Hiring for a greenfield (manafucturing) in a metal industry

Role & responsibilities

HR Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

Oversee end-to-end recruitment process (job posting, screening, interviewing, onboarding).
Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.
Ensure timely hiring and smooth induction of new employees.

2. Employee Relations

Act as a point of contact between management and employees.
Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues fairly.
Promote a positive and productive work environment.

3. Attendance & Payroll Management

Monitor attendance, leave, and shift records.
Support payroll preparation and verify data accuracy.
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.

4. Compliance & Documentation

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
Assist in audits and statutory inspections.
Update HR policies and ensure all employees are aware of them.

5. HR Operations & Administration

Supervise daily HR operations (joining formalities, exit process, ID cards, etc.).
Manage employee engagement activities and communication.
Prepare regular HR reports for management.

Vendor Management (Key Focus Area)

Identify, evaluate, and onboard HR-related vendors (manpower suppliers, housekeeping, canteen, security, transport, etc.).
Verify invoices, attendance, and billing accuracy before forwarding for payment.
Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and audits.
Ensure vendor staff adhere to site safety, compliance, and code of conduct requirements.
Maintain strong coordination between internal departments and vendors for smooth operations.
