Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Plan and execute end-to-end recruitment for corporate, sales, site, and project roles.
  • Coordinate manpower planning for projects, sites, and head office.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and consultants.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and documentation of new hires.

2. HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee attendance, leave management, and HRMIS systems.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, salary processing, and statutory deductions.
  • Manage employee records, contracts, and personal files.
  • Handle employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.

3. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws (PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
  • Handle labor inspections, audits, and liaison with government authorities.
  • Manage contractor labor compliance at project sites.
  • Maintain statutory registers and documentation.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture across office and sites.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities and surveys.
  • Support conflict resolution and counseling initiatives.

5. Performance Management & Appraisals

  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Coordinate goal setting, reviews, and annual appraisals.
  • Support leadership in performance improvement plans (PIP).

6. Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs for sales, site, and corporate teams.
  • Organize internal and external training programs.
  • Support leadership development initiatives.

7. Policy Development & HR Governance

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and manuals.
  • Ensure consistent policy implementation across projects.
  • Advise management on HR best practices and risk mitigation.

8. Exit Management

  • Manage resignation, notice period, handover, and final settlement processes.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and real estate manpower structures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
  • Experience managing site HR operations.
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • MBA / MSW in HR or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as HR Manager in Real Estate / Construction preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRMS and MS Office.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience handling multi-site operations.
  • Strong exposure to contractor labor management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
