Human Resource Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

• Prepare and execute annual manpower planning in coordination with HODs.
  
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff, executives, operators and contract manpower.
  
• Coordinate onboarding, induction and deployment.
  

2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws

• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws.
  
• Liaison with government departments, inspectors and consultants.
  
• Maintain statutory registers, returns and records.
  

3. Payroll & HR Operations

• Oversee payroll processing, attendance, leave and shift management.
  
• Ensure timely wage and salary disbursement with statutory deductions.
  
• Manage employee records and HR MIS.
  

4. Industrial Relations (IR)

• Maintain healthy employee relations and discipline.
  
• Handle grievances, misconduct cases and domestic enquiries.
  
• Coordinate with unions, contractors and works committee (if applicable).
  

5. Performance Management & KPI

• Implement and monitor JD, KRA & KPI for all levels.
  
• Coordinate appraisal cycles, confirmation and increment processes.
  
• Support productivity and performance improvement initiatives.
  

6. Training & Development

• Identify training needs and prepare annual training calendar.
  
• Coordinate skill development, safety and behavioral training programs.
  
• Monitor training effectiveness.
  

7. Employee Engagement & Welfare

• Implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare schemes.
  
• Drive 5s culture and discipline across the plant
  
• Drive safety culture and discipline across the plant.
  

8. HR Policy & Administration

• Draft, implement and update HR policies, SOPs and circulars.
  
• Manage administrative functions including canteen, transport, housekeeping and security (as applicable).
  
• Support audits (internal/external).
