Human Resource Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for Chennai and Project Sites in the GCC region.

• Manage the recruitment and selection process and onboarding of new starters.

• Maintain employee records, including Time & Attendance, Performance evaluations, and Disciplinary Actions

• Manage the performance review process and provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees

• Foster positive employee relations by addressing and resolving employee issues and concerns

• Responsible for working in close coordination with the Business and Group Leadership to achieve business delivery targets.

• Talent Management with innovative engagement strategies to focus on reducing attrition through effective employee engagement.

• Coordinate and work in partnership with the Group HR teams in Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement and Learning and development initiatives based on business requirements.

• Design and formulate HR policies and processes in consultation with leadership and effectively manage them.

• Champion various HR process interventions in the Performance Effectiveness Program, Rewards and Recognition and Employee Development/Engagement initiatives.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee conduct and discipline

• Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

• Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration with specialization in HR

• 15 to 20 years of experience in handling recruitment for Construction / Engineering industries with versatile experience in managing other gamuts of HR including Performance Management, Training & Development, etc.

• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

• People oriented and results driven
