Job Description

SentientGeeks is seeking an HR Generalist passionate about ensuring smooth and effective human resources activities and is vital in providing expert advice and support in corporate governance and compliance matters. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective HR practices and legal compliance within the organization. Requirements:

  • Bachelors in any stream with MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or Company Secretary (CS course).
  • 4+ years of experience with at least 100+ employees life circle management.
  • Should have experience in online challan generation of PF, ESI, and P-Tax.
  • Strong knowledge of Labour Law, Statutory Compliances, HR Policies, Disciplinary Actions and Organisational Behaviour.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance principles and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
  • Dedication, persistence and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain composure and handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bengali, and Hindi.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including orientation, documentation and exit interviews.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR initiatives, programs, and policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and support a positive work culture.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory registers and other corporate records.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure company policies, regulations, and guidelines compliance.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal agreements, contracts, and documents.
  • Stay updated on changes in company law and corporate governance practices.
  • Set up and maintain PF, ESI and PT accounts and generate respective challans.
  • After the selection of the right candidate, reference checking, background verification.
  • Maintain employee benefits administration such as leave records, ESI, medical and etc.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
