Role & responsibilities: We are looking for a responsible Account Assistant to maintain financial records and ledgers using Tally ERP9, process invoices, payments, and receipts, and assist in preparing financial reports and statements. The role includes managing day-to-day office operations, coordinating with other departments, and handling administrative tasks. Coordinate with vendors, customers, and transporters for billing, payment follow-ups, and account confirmations. Handle dispatch-related documentation, including preparation and verification of invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, LR copies, and transport bills. Coordinate with the dispatch and production teams to ensure timely material dispatch and proper documentation. Maintain records of outward and inward dispatch, freight charges, transporter bills, and proof of delivery (POD). Verify transport bills and support freight payment processing after reconciliation with dispatch records Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping for accounting and compliance purposes. The Account Assistant is also expected to create and maintain records using MS Office applications, ensure accurate data entry and documentation, and support audits and reconciliation processes. Role & responsibilities: Handle end-to-end recruitment including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer issuance. Coordinate joining formalities, documentation, background verification, and employee induction programs. Ensure completion of joining formalities, KYC, background verification, and statutory registrations (PF, ESIC). Conduct employee induction programs covering company policies, safety rules, and code of conduct. Maintain updated employee master data, personal files, and digital HR records. Manage attendance systems, leave records, shift rosters, and weekly off schedules. Monitor absenteeism, late coming, and overtime; share reports with department heads. Coordinate payroll processing by providing accurate data on attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and salary changes. Support salary revisions, promotions, and bonus processing. Ensure timely full & final settlements for exiting employees. Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Factories Act / Shops & Establishment Act as applicable. Maintain statutory registers, records, and returns as per labor laws. Coordinate with labor authorities, inspectors, and auditors during inspections. Handle contract labor compliance, contractor documentation, licenses, and attendance verification. Ensure contractors compliance with statutory norms including PF, ESIC, and wage payments. Act as a mediator to address employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary issues. Identify training needs and coordinate skill development, safety training, and compliance training. Support implementation of workplace safety policies, safety committees, and statutory trainings. Coordinate employee welfare activities, engagement programs, and compliance-related health initiatives. Manage resignation acceptance, exit interviews, clearance processes, and documentation. Ensure knowledge transfer, asset recovery, and statutory compliance during exits. Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies, SOPs, standing orders, and employee handbooks. Ensure confidentiality of employee data and HR records. Perform any other HR, admin, or compliance-related duties assigned by management.
