Job Description

Role Overview

The HR Executive will support end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, HR policy implementation, payroll coordination, attendance & leave monitoring, compliance, and employee engagement across all stores and head office.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate manpower planning with management
  • Publish JDs, screen candidates, schedule and conduct interviews
  • Handle joining formalities, documentation, and induction programs

Employee Records & Data Management

  • Maintain up-to-date employee files (physical & digital)
  • Track documents like Aadhaar, PAN, police verification, etc.
  • Manage Zoho People/HRMS data accurately

Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination

  • Daily attendance checks using biometric/manual data
  • Maintain leave records and communicate discrepancies
  • Coordinate payroll inputs (attendance, deductions, loans, advances)

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Implement company policies across all branches
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws (ESIC, PF, Shops & Establishment Act)
  • Maintain registers as per legal norms

Employee Engagement & Grievance Handling

  • Support initiatives for training, staff welfare & engagement
  • Assist in handling grievances and disciplinary actions

Exit Formalities

  • Manage resignations, full & final settlements, and exit interviews

Key Skillsets & Competencies

Core HR Skills

  • Recruitment coordination & interview scheduling
  • Documentation and file management (physical + HRMS like Zoho)
  • Leave and attendance management
  • Payroll coordination (input preparation, loan deductions, salary slips)
  • Exit formalities and full & final settlement

Technical Skills

  • HRMS Software (Zoho People preferred but others like GreytHR, Keka, Spine also okay)
  • Excel & Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of PF, ESIC, gratuity, Shops & Establishment compliance
  • Word & PDF documentation

Communication Skills

  • Clear written and verbal communication (English, Marathi, Hindi)
  • Ability to handle queries from store staff confidently
  • Can communicate policy information and follow up on pending tasks

Attention to Detail

  • Accurate data entry, file updates, and follow-ups
  • Cross-verifying joining forms, identity proof, and compliance docs

Soft Skills

  • Professional and discreet (especially when handling salaries or complaints)
  • People-friendly and approachable to staff
  • Organized, systematic, and good with deadlines
  • Proactive and able to coordinate with stores, accounts, and directors

Additional Plus Points (Optional)

  • Experience in jewellery, retail, or franchise environments
  • Familiarity with labour laws in Maharashtra
  • Spoken Marathi (to interact with store staff comfortably)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
