Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contractual Compliance Consultant to ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and company-specific compliance requirements within the Petrochemical, Plastics, or Rubber industry.The consultant will be responsible for assessing, reviewing, and managing compliance risks in contracts, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth and compliant execution of commercial and operational obligations.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

  • Review and assess commercial contracts for compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate contractual risks across projects and supply chain functions
  • Ensure all executed contracts are aligned with applicable industry standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Monitor vendor and third-party compliance with contractual obligations
  • Work closely with legal, procurement, and business units to manage contract-related queries
  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance protocols
  • Draft and implement contract compliance guidelines, SOPs, and documentation
  • Support internal and external audits related to contracts and regulatory matters
  • Maintain a centralized repository for contracts and compliance tracking
  • Stay up to date on industry-specific regulations and provide impact analysis on operations
  • Report compliance deviations or risks to senior management and suggest corrective actions

Required Skillsets

  • Strong understanding of contractual frameworks, compliance laws, and regulatory standards
  • In-depth knowledge of contract lifecycle management in the petrochemical/plastics/rubber industry
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as BIS, REACH, OSHA, and environmental laws (if applicable)
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual terms
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, contract management software, and document management systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting Master's/Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance Management, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in contractual compliance within petrochemical, plastics, or rubber industries
  • Certification in Contract Management or Compliance (preferred)
