Job Description

HRIS (Workday) Analyst


This role entails a hands-on approach, necessitating a blend of technical prowess and leadership acumen. The candidate should possess a robust understanding of business processes and methodologies, complemented by a solid foundation in analytical capabilities. Direct engagement with process design, configuration, implementation, and reporting is pivotal. Moreover, this role is anticipated to offer innovative insights concerning the HR technology roadmap, encompassing both immediate objectives and long-term aspirations, all directed towards creating a streamlined yet impactful HR technology experience.


Key Responsibilities


Strategy

  • Propose strategies and take the lead in implementing functionalities that align with and reinforce the company culture and HR philosophy.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for refining processes and optimizing technology to ensure an uncomplicated yet robust user experience and optimal performance of HR technology systems.
  • Conduct research to identify and minimize issues and pain points.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements by collaborating with vendors, comprehending roadmaps, and incorporating new releases.
  • Actively engage in the Workday community and act as the organization's advocate for Workday.


Maintenance

  • Offer troubleshooting support within the HR organization: address issues, assist with technology requests, and manage escalations as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS systems, including conducting regular audits and leading initiatives to clean up data.
  • Work in conjunction with IT to resolve integration errors when required and troubleshoot accordingly.
  • Work in conjunction with IT to prepare, test, and process EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) to support diverse business requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with IT to manage security roles and permissions to effectively meet the evolving needs of the business.


Education and Experience

  • BA/BS in Human Resources or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience as a team leader or subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM and associated modules
  • Workday Pro certifications are a huge plus


Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Proficient understanding of Core HCM, Absence, Performance, Advanced Compensation, Talent, and Benefits
  • Proficient in understanding, modifying, and troubleshooting business processes
  • Proficient in report writing and HR data analysis
  • Integration troubleshooting skills
  • Security and change management skills
