About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR & Admin Manager to join our 4-star property in Daman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all human resource functions, administrative operations, and ensuring compliance with hospitality standards. This is a key leadership role that supports the smooth functioning of the hotel through effective people management and administrative control.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding of hotel staff.
  • Ensure manpower planning in line with hotel operations and seasonal requirements.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, training, and performance management systems.
  • Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions fairly and professionally.
  • Maintain statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other labour laws.

Administration:

  • Oversee general administrative operations including staff accommodation, transport, uniforms, and welfare facilities.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between different departments for administrative support.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and payroll-related data in coordination with accounts.
  • Monitor contracts and liaise with external agencies/vendors for administrative requirements.
  • Implement safety, security, and workplace health standards in collaboration with management.

Strategic Support:

  • Assist the General Manager in workforce planning, cost control, and organizational development.
  • Contribute towards building a strong work culture aligned with the hotel’s service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR and administrative audits.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in HR/Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a Hotel HR/Admin Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, statutory compliances, and hospitality industry standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Daman, Daman and Diu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Housekeeping management: 2 years (Required)
