HR Recruiter

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter with a strong background in the steel or manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hiring for technical, operational, and managerial roles within steel plants, fabrication units, or related sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions across departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, SCM, Safety, etc.).
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates using various platforms (Naukri, LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals).
• Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers and functional heads.
• Understand manpower needs of steel plant operations and create suitable job descriptions.
• Maintain pipelines for critical roles such as Rolling Mill Operator, Furnace Operator, Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, and Production Supervisors.
• Conduct salary negotiations, issue offer letters, and manage onboarding processes.
• Build strong relationships with agencies, training institutes, and local talent networks.
• Track recruitment metrics (TAT, offer-to-join ratio, sourcing effectiveness).
• Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in recruitment within the steel, metal, or heavy manufacturing sector is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of plant functions, technical job roles, and industry skill requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple positions simultaneously.
• Familiarity with HRMS/ATS tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of steel plant processes (SMS, Rolling Mill, Quality, Dispatch).
• Hands-on experience sourcing blue-collar and skilled labor.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
