Role Overview

HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management (India)

  • Manage

    end-to-end Indian payroll processing

    (monthly, F&F, arrears, bonuses, incentives).
  • Ensure accurate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, variable pay, and deductions.
  • Handle

    statutory compliances

    : PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax (TDS), and labor law adherence.
  • Process

    new joiners, exits, salary revisions, and recoveries

    .
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and finance teams for timely and error-free payroll.
  • Handle

    payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll reports

    .

HR Operations

  • Manage complete

    employee lifecycle activities

    onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Handle

    HR documentation

    , employee records, and personnel files.
  • Manage

    leave management systems

    , attendance tracking, and shift policies.
  • Support

    background verification (BGV)

    and onboarding formalities.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll, benefits, policies, and HR processes.
  • Drive

    exit management

    including F&F settlement, asset clearance, and relieving letters.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with

    Indian labor laws

    and internal HR policies.
  • Support audits (internal, statutory, payroll, and compliance audits).
  • Implement and update HR policies and SOPs aligned with organizational requirements.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Work on

    HRMS / Payroll systems

    (Oracle HCM / other HR tools preferred).
  • Maintain accurate HR dashboards, MIS, and payroll reports.
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives in HR operations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, managers, finance, and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with US HR / operations teams in a

    US Healthcare RCM environment

    .
  • Support cross-functional HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of

    Indian payroll & statutory compliance

    .
  • Hands-on experience in

    HR operations

  • Excellent understanding of employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Human Resources / Business Administration / Commerce

    (MBA/PGDM – HR preferred).
  • 3–8 years

    of experience as an HR Generalist / Payroll Specialist.
  • Mandatory experience in

    Indian Payroll

    .
  • Experience with

    Oracle HCM or similar HRMS

    is an added advantage.
