HR Officer with experience in Manpower Management, HR Recruiting, Workforce Planning & Analysis

Permanent - Full Time

Qualification : MBA

Experience : 2-5 Years in Manufacturing Industry

Gender: Male/Female (Pref. Male)

Department: Human Resource Planning

Salary: 5-7 LPA (As per company standards)

Timings: General Shift

Language: English & Kannada(Mandatory)

Work Time: 7.45 Am to 4.45 pm

The Team Leader of an HRP plays a critical role in ensuring that the organizations human resources are optimally planned, aligned, and developed to support production goals. This position involves analyzing workforce requirements, managing manpower planning, coordinating recruitment and deployment, planning and conducting campus interviews and ensuring compliance with labor regulations & company standards. Ensuring right skills are available at the right time during any takt change and for new projects/model launches.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop & maintain short-term and long term manpower plans in line with production forecasts.
  • Conduct workforce analytics (Attrition, absenteeism, skills gap Productivity, etc) to support management decisions.
  • Coordinate with production and other departments to align manpower with operational needs.

Recruitment & Deployment

  • Collaborate with external agencies to fulfil manpower requirement on time
  • Planning and manage new employee onboarding schedules for the replacement and attrition requirement and to forecast new project/takt change requirements.
  • Monitor contract and temporary staffing levels to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

Coordination Activities

  • Coordinate with line managers and department heads for manpower needs.
  • Help in tracking approvals for new manpower requisitions or transfers.

Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and guide HRP officers and support staff.
  • Lead daily morning meetings and with line managers to discuss workforce status and future needs.
  • Coordinate HRP activities across department to ensure smooth communication and planning
  • Plan and organization of regularization and assessment process for internal promotion and on rolling.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure Apprentice and Trainee documentation is complete as per HR policies and Government Apprenticeship guidelines.
  • Assist in internal audits related to manpower records.

Skills:

  • Analytical mindset & attention to detail.
  • Good Communication & coordination skills.
  • Good in MS excel

Competencies

  • Basic understanding of HR principles & workforce planning

Education & Professional Qualification

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in human resource managements, Industrial Engineering Business Administration or related field.
  • Work Experience 2-5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
