Position : Branch Credit Manager-Belagavi Job Description Processing of loan applications which are logged in by the branch and approve/recommend cases based on the approval matrix. Inspect the property documents, initiate legal and technical and ensure all documents as required by legal are collected in original and xerox as required by legal report. Have a good knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements and aspects of the location. Verify leads identified by RSM /Branch; Conduct personal discussion; Evaluate business and management related risk by conducting Income and financial strength assessment of the prospective borrowers. Review property valuation reports and ensure compliance to valuation guidelines. Verification and validate of the documents submitted by applicants through online on offline checks in the respective sites to ensure the correctness of the documents and compliance. Submit credit proposals to the appropriate sanctioning authority for sanction. Liaise with the concerned approval authority for timely sanction of the proposal; obtain sanction within specified turnaround times. Prepare Credit Appraisal Memos, Monthly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio and excellent problem solving and decision-making ability. Discuss with business on Terms and Conditions for risk assessments. Monitor the accounts based on the terms stipulated by Sanctioning Authority. Escalate with action plan for non-compliance. Visit the units and submit inspection reports. Ensure Monitoring and collection of early delinquent cases/Non-starter cases in 12 MOB. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge on Credit and Risk Assessment and have the skills/ability to manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments. Excellent Analytical, interpersonal skills & logical thinking with high degree of integrity towards the role. Strong Critical Thinking abilities coupled with critical evaluation of the available information is crucial in the credit evaluation process. This role entails to build the quality portfolio by supporting the approval of the loans in reasonable time by maintaining an ideal TAT for the smooth on boarding of the customers.
