About The Role
As HR Manager, India at SellCord, you will have ownership over the human resources functions supporting our India advertising and engineering teams and Bengaluru office. Responsibilities including recruitment, employee and contractor relations, performance management, and company culture development. Your goal will be to create a great employee and contractor experience, drive engagement, and foster a supportive and high-performing work environment.This role is ideal for a strong HR leader who is passionate about building a thriving workplace culture while implementing effective HR strategies to support business objectives.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop efficient recruitment processes that support business growth.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment with engagement initiatives.
- Address employee concerns and promote workplace well-being.
- Manage performance evaluations and employee growth plans.
- Provide coaching and identify training opportunities for skill development.
- Build and implement HR policies that align with local labor laws and company standards.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and maintain accurate employee and contractor records.
- Align HR initiatives with business goals and improve efficiency.
- Enhance employee and contractor satisfaction through engagement and retention strategies.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proven HR experience (5+ years) with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong background in recruitment, employee relations, independent contractors, and HR strategy.
- Experience in building and maintaining company culture.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, Indian labor laws, and compliance.
- Office management experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting technology teams is strongly preferred.
