HR Manager – Transport & Warehouse Operations 📍 Location: Kolkata (with field visits across WB, Odisha, Bihar) 🏢 Company: S S Logistics 🕒 Experience: 5–10 Years 🧾 Industry: Logistics | Road Transport | Cement | Warehouse Handling About the Role We’re seeking a performance-driven HR Manager to lead our people operations across transport and warehouse locations. This role is key to scaling our logistics business by managing staff hiring, payroll & compliance, and strengthening driver engagement in field operations. Key Responsibilities 👥 Team Supervision Lead a team of 3 HR professionals: Recruitment & Onboarding Executive Payroll, Leave & Compliance Executive Driver Relations Officer 🛠️ Core Functions Drive recruitment of HO, plant, warehouse, and field staff Manage onboarding and documentation process Supervise payroll processing, attendance, PF/ESI/Bonus compliance Ensure full statutory compliance across sites (CLRA, Shops & Establishments, etc.) Plan and execute driver welfare and engagement programs Travel to field locations to address driver relations and team challenges Ensure timely reporting: HR MIS, compliance calendar, attrition & manpower health Required Skills Team leadership and multitasking in high-pressure operations Working knowledge of labor laws, PF/ESI/TDS, HRMS/payroll systems Empathy and conflict resolution—especially for driver/labor issues Language: Hindi is must; Bengali/Odia/Bhojpuri preferred for field coordination Qualifications MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management 5–10 years of HR experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, or manufacturing Prior experience handling blue-collar workforce is mandatory Why Join Us?
