Job Description

Plan and manage manpower recruitment for mining operations. Conduct employee onboarding, exit and ensure medical fitness as per DGMS norms. Ensure compliance with all labour laws: Mines Act, Contract Labour Act, EPF, ESI, Payment of Wages, etc. Maintain statutory records as required by authorities. Liaise with DGMS, Labour Department, Pollution Control Board, local administration, and other government bodies. Handle inspections, audits, and renewals of statutory licenses and approvals. Supervise attendance, leave management, payroll processing, and statutory deductions. Address employee grievances, misconduct, and enforce disciplinary procedures. Promote industrial harmony and manage conflict resolution on-site. Organize regular training programs on safety, compliance, and skill development. Oversee staff welfare activities such as mess/canteen. Maintain HR records, service files, and prepare periodic HR MIS reports. Implement company HR and safety policies at site level. Coordinate internal/external HR and compliance audits and ensure corrective actions. Support CSR activities and maintain positive community relations around mining areas.
