Job Description

We at 'Bizlumina Services' are seeking a seasoned, proactive, and hands-on HR leader to lead the Human Resources function at our client's manufacturing facility in Bangalore. This on-site role requires strong industrial relations expertise, a strategic mindset, and an approachable leadership style with high visibility across the plant floor, production units, and senior management.

Role & Responsibilities:

A. Strategic HR & Business Partnering

  • Setting up of HR Department.
  • Align HR strategies with production and business objectives at the plant.
  • Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, performance, and organization design.
  • Drive transformation initiatives including change management, OD, and culture building.

B. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across levels to meet manpower needs.
  • Oversee onboarding programs for seamless new hire integration.

C. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Design and execute engagement and retention strategies.
  • Promote an inclusive, value-driven culture with a focus on performance.
  • Be the go-to point for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.

D. Performance Management & Rewards

  • Manage compensation and benefits programs ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Implement and drive performance management system.

E. Learning & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and roll out training and capability-building programs.
  • Foster a growth environment through development frameworks and mentorship.

F. HR Operations & Systems

  • Supervise payroll and HR operations ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
  • Optimize HRIS/ATS platforms for operational efficiency and reporting.

G. Industrial Relations & Compliance

  • Maintain healthy labor relations and a compliant workplace environment.
  • Ensure full adherence to labor laws and factory acts.

H. HR Analytics & Special Projects

  • Utilize HR data to drive insights and informed decision-making.
  • Lead key HR projects such as process improvements, HR digitization, and restructuring.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with 3 to 6 years in a leadership/managerial role in a plant/industrial setting.
  • Prior experience/exposure in setting up HR department would be a plus point.
  • Proven expertise in managing HR in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong command of labor laws, industrial relations, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience working with unions and navigating labor contracts.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, coaching, and negotiation skills.
  • Exposure to HR systems transformation and HR tech implementation.
