Position: HR Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Work Days: Monday to Saturday Timing: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Location: Initially in Sachin and Later Althan Surat Reports To: Director
Job Summary
Orange O Tec seeks a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to drive end-to-end HR operations, foster talent development, and reinforce a high-performance, legally compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, hiring - Liaise with department heads to understand and anticipate staffing requirements
Onboarding & Training
- Design and facilitate onboarding programs - Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and development initiatives
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Cultivate a positive workplace environment - Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conduct conflict resolution - Plan and drive employee engagement initiatives (e.g. wellness programs, internal events)
Performance Management
- Manage performance appraisal cycles - Assist in defining KPIs and career development plans
HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, update, and roll out HR policies aligned with Indian labor laws - Ensure full statutory compliance and maintain accurate documentation
Payroll & Attendance
- Oversee attendance, leaves, and payroll coordination with accounts/finance
HR Administration & Reporting
- Maintain HR records and generate relevant reports (turnover, headcount, training, etc.) - Provide regular HR analytics and metrics to leadership
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field - 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role - Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS (or similar HR tools) - Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in HR - Experience in manufacturing or textile machinery sectors - Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting systems
