Job Title: HR Manager – Plant HR
Location: Perundurai, Tamil Nadu
Experience Required: 8 – 10 Years
Gender Preference: Male Candidate Only

Role Overview:

The Plant HR Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all HR functions at the Perundurai manufacturing plant. The role focuses on employee relations, statutory compliance, manpower planning, talent development, and creating a harmonious industrial environment to support smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations & Administration
  • Manage end-to-end HR activities at the plant level.
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll, attendance, leave, and other employee-related records.
  • Handle employee grievance redressal and maintain high morale across teams.
  • Industrial Relations & Statutory Compliance
  • Maintain cordial relations with union/contract labour and resolve disputes amicably.
  • Ensure 100% statutory compliance with labour laws, Factory Act, ESI, PF, etc.
  • Liaise with government authorities and ensure compliance audits are passed smoothly.
  • Recruitment & Manpower Planning
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of plant-level staff and workers.
  • Plan and manage workforce requirements to meet production targets.
  • Engage with recruitment partners for skilled/unskilled manpower.
  • Training & Development
  • Identify training needs and coordinate skill development initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, and career development at the plant.
  • Health, Safety & Welfare
  • Collaborate with the EHS team to ensure workplace safety and compliance.
  • Promote welfare measures, canteen, transport, and other employee amenities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • MBA / MSW in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification.
  • 8–10 years of strong HR & IR experience in a manufacturing/plant setup.
  • Proven track record in statutory compliance, industrial relations, and HR operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle diverse workforce.
  • Strong leadership qualities to manage HR initiatives independently at the plant.
  • Tamil language proficiency (mandatory) for effective workforce communication.
  • Should be a male candidate due to nature of work and operational requirements.

Compensation:

Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹750,000.00 per year
