Job Description

Role Overview The Head of Human Resources (HR) is a key leadership position responsible for managing and guiding all HR functions at Ramagya Group. The role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, talent development, compliance, compensation, and cultivating a positive, inclusive work culture. The HR Head works closely with school leadership to ensure HR strategies align with the schools mission, driving excellence in employee engagement, retention, and growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, capable of navigating the dynamic needs of an educational institution. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Lead the HR department, aligning HR practices with the school’s vision and strategic goals. Advise senior leadership on HR strategies and initiatives. Recruitment & Staffing: Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top talent. Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment. Manage conflict resolution and employee concerns effectively. Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs that align with market standards. Training & Development: Develop and implement staff training, professional development, and leadership growth programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Compliance & Legal: Ensure all HR policies and practices are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Maintain proper documentation and uphold ethical standards. Performance Management: Lead the performance review process, ensuring timely feedback and supporting employee growth. Policy Development: Establish, review, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and legal compliance. Employee Wellness: Promote initiatives that support staff well-being, work-life balance, and overall morale. HR Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze HR metrics; provide data-driven insights to school leadership. Budget Management: Oversee and manage the HR budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration , or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience , with at least 5+ years in a senior HR leadership role . Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations, preferably in an educational setting. Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, and staff development. Solid understanding of compensation, benefits, and HR compliance requirements. Familiarity with HRIS platforms and HR software tools. Key Skills Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent interpersonal , communication , and conflict resolution skills. High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Data-driven decision-making and analytical mindset. Desirable Skills Professional HR certification ( SHRM-CP , SHRM-SCP , or equivalent) is a plus. Experience working in educational or non-profit organizations. Project management skills and ability to implement HR initiatives end-to-end. Key Competencies Leadership: Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR team. Communication: Clear, empathetic, and persuasive communication across all levels. Problem-Solving: Proactive, solution-oriented approach to complex HR challenges.
