Role Overview

The HR Executive will be responsible for supporting and executing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, compliance, and training (Optional). The

role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information effectively.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

1. Recruitment & Staffing

Manage end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Maintain candidate database and recruitment trackers.

Coordinate with hiring managers for manpower planning.

2. Employee Engagement & Relations

Support initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.

Organize employee welfare and engagement activities.

3. Payroll & Compliance

Assist in maintaining attendance, leave records, and payroll processing.

Ensure compliance with statutory laws (PF, ESIC, etc.).

Maintain HR records and employee files.

4. Performance Management

Assist in the performance appraisal process.

Track employee performance against goals.

5. HR Operations & Administration

Draft and issue HR letters (offer, appointment, confirmation, etc.).

Manage HRMIS and databases.

Support in policy implementation and documentation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Recruitment

Time to fill vacancies (Average no. of days).

Percentage of successful hires (probation clearance rate).

Recruitment cost per hire.

Employee Engagement & Relations

Employee satisfaction/engagement survey scores.

Number of engagement activities organized per quarter.

Grievance resolution turnaround time.

Payroll & Compliance

Accuracy rate in payroll processing (error-free).

100% statutory compliance adherence.

On-time submission of compliance reports.

Performance Management

On-time completion of appraisal cycles.

Percentage of employees with defined KRAs.

Reporting accuracy of performance data.

HR Operations & Administration

Accuracy and timeliness in HR documentation.

HRMIS data accuracy percentage.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of HR operations and labor laws.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.

Organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR or related field.

1–3 years of relevant experience in HR operations.

Experience in education industry preferred.
