You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, managing employee benefits, and supporting compliance activities. This role also encompasses basic accounting tasks, including invoice management and statutory records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of Indian labor laws and tax regulations, and excellent coordination skills.
• Manage and ensure timely registration for employee benefits, including Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and insurance.
• Oversee and maintain employee attendance records, primarily through timesheet management.
• Track and manage employee leave records.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Process Full & Final (FnF) settlements for exiting employees in accordance with company policy and regulations.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountant (CA) for employee salary Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) matters.
• Liaise with the Finance & Accounts (F&A) team for timesheet and invoicing coordination related to clients.
• Coordinate effectively with clients regarding timesheets, salary processing, overtime (OT) calculations, and invoicing.
• Maintain all relevant payroll data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure timely completion of client's quarterly compliances related to payroll and benefits.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized invoice records.
• Ensure timely processing of all invoice payments.
• Assist with Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings and TDS compliance.
• Maintain and reconcile ledgers as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, and/or accounting roles, preferably with exposure to Indian labour laws.
• Experience working in a consulting firm or a company with multiple clients will be preferred.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
o Familiarity with EPF, ESI, LWF, TDS, and GST regulations.
o Proficiency in payroll software/HRIS systems.
o Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass (VMS) would be preferred.
o Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, CAs).
o Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently.
