Job Description

Job Role & Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Creating job descriptions and posting vacancies.
  • Screening resumes, conducting interviews, and shortlisting candidates.
  • Coordinating with managers for final selection.
  • Managing onboarding and induction of new employees.

2. Employee Records & Compliance

  • Maintaining employee records (attendance, personal files, contracts).
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, maternity benefits).
  • Handling payroll coordination with accounts/finance.
  • Preparing HR-related reports for management.

3. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Handling employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Organizing team-building activities and engagement programs.
  • Maintaining healthy workplace culture.
  • Acting as a bridge between employees and management.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Assisting in payroll processing (salary slips, leave adjustments, overtime).
  • Managing employee benefits (PF, ESI, gratuity, insurance, leave encashment).
  • Coordinating appraisals, promotions, and salary revisions.

5. Training & Development

  • Identifying skill gaps and training needs.
  • Arranging workshops, training sessions, and performance improvement programs.
  • Supporting career growth and succession planning.

6. Performance Management

  • Implementing performance appraisal systems.
  • Monitoring employee performance and feedback.
  • Working with managers to improve productivity.

7. HR Policies & Strategy

  • Drafting HR policies (leave policy, work rules, code of conduct).
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Supporting organizational development and HR strategy.
