About the Role

HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into effective HR strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders using data-driven insights and sound judgment

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the complete Performance Management cycle (goal setting, reviews, and appraisals)
  • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Develop and implement attrition management and retention strategies

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory compliance, and internal HR policies
  • Maintain accurate HR data and reporting through HRMS platforms (Workday, SAP, Zoho, or similar)
  • Prepare and manage HR budgets, including cost optimization initiatives

Talent & Capability Development

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and hiring strategies
  • Support learning and development initiatives aligned with business needs

CSR & Culture Building

  • Lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives
  • Drive culture-building and employee well-being interventions

Analytics & Reporting

  • Create HR dashboards and reports using advanced Excel
  • Develop impactful presentations and reports for leadership reviews

Required Skills & Competencies

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong email etiquette
  • Proven ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders in a matrix organization

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools (Workday, SAP, Zoho, or similar)
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills

HR Expertise

  • Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Attrition Management
  • Budgeting, CSR program execution, and labour law compliance

Behavioural Attributes

  • Mature, presentable, and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work different shifts if required

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field from a reputed HR institution
  • 8+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in Real Estate, Engineering, or Manufacturing
  • Experience managing an employee base of 700+ and multiple stakeholders

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to organizational change management and HR transformation projects
  • Experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
